evening through Saturday afternoon...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of west central Texas... including the following
areas... Brown... Callahan... Coke... Coleman... Concho...
Crockett... Fisher... Haskell... Irion... Jones... Kimble... Mason...
   McCulloch... Menard... Nolan... Runnels... San Saba...
Schleicher... Shackelford... Sterling... Sutton... Taylor...
Throckmorton and Tom Green.

* From 10 PM CDT this evening through 1 PM Saturday afternoon

* thunderstorms will produce locally heavy rainfall amounts of 1
to 2 inches.

* Heavy rainfall in a short period of time... falling on
saturated grounds... will result in flash flooding of urban
areas... low water crossings... and other low lying areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that heavy rainfall may lead to flash
flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
