The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River near Mineola.
* Until Wednesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:15 am Saturday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 14.9 feet by
Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
afternoon.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... expect flooding of secondary roadways with
picnic and recreational areas flooded as well.

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon today to 7 PM CDT this
evening...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from noon today to 7 PM CDT this
evening.

* Event... a tightening pressure gradient over eastcentral Texas
this afternoon ahead of the eastward moving dryline will result
in southwest winds increasing to 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30
mph.

* Timing... between 12 PM and 7 PM this afternoon.

* Impact... rough chop may cause hazardous boating conditions on
area lakes and open waters.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
