* at 322 PM CDT... Doppler radar and Oklahoma mesonet observations
indicated that between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain fell since
midnight last night across the warned area. The heavy rain has
caused many Road closures... especially in Mayes County where
several roads remain closed.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Caney river near Collinsville
* from late Thursday night to Friday afternoon, or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 1:30 PM Wednesday, the stage was 20.31 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the Caney river near Collinsville is expected to rise
above flood stage late Thursday night and continue to rise to near
26.2 feet by Friday morning. The river is expected to fall below
flood stage late Friday morning.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet, minor lowland flooding occurs.

... NWS damage survey for 05/24/16 tornado event...

.Overview... A high-precipitation supercell produced a rain-wrapped
tornado northwest of Bristow during the evening of may 24th and
another storm produced a brief tornado northeast of Okmulgee during
the early morning hours of may 25th. Both areas were surveyed by NWS
Tulsa meteorologists today. Their findings follow.

Survey summary: this tornado developed northwest of the intersection
of Highway 16 and S 433rd west Avenue where trees were snapped. A
home was severely damaged, multiple outbuildings were destroyed, and
trees were snapped just south of Highway 16. As the tornado moved
southeast, it damaged multiple homes, destroyed outbuildings, and
snapped or uprooted numerous trees along W 201st street S and Highway
16. It then turned sharply to the east and crossed Highway 48 north
of Bristow where large tree limbs were snapped. The tornado
dissipated between I-44 and the S 337th west Avenue.
