* At 430 PM EDT, radar indicated that heavy rain had fallen across
the warned area. 1 to 3 inches of rain have fallen.
Heavy rain continues to fall with another 1 to 2 inches possible.
Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chillicothe, Hillsboro, Waverly, Marshall, Bainbridge, Pike Lake,
Kincaid Springs, Belfast, Rocky Fork Point, Highland Holiday,

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, including the
following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette in, Franklin
in, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union in, and Wayne. In
Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant,
Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In Ohio,
Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton,
Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene,
Hamilton, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Miami,
Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby,
Union OH, and Warren.

* Until 2 am EDT Saturday.

* A band of showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will
continue to sag southeast this afternoon. A widespread one to
three inches of rain is expected today. Isolated totals of three
to five inches will be possible. Some local weather station
reports already show totals above three inches. Showers and
thunderstorms will come to an end late Friday night.

* At 354 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
moving across the advisory area. These storms have are capable of
producing up to an inch of rain in 30 minutes or less, so any
storm could lead to urban or small stream flooding.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Hillsboro, Amelia, Mount Orab, Bethel, New Richmond, Williamsburg,

streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.
