the Wakenda creek at Carrollton.
* From Monday morning to Wednesday morning.
* At 2:00 PM Sunday the stage was 12.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Monday morning and continue to
rise to near 18.8 feet by Monday evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by late Tuesday morning.
* At 16.0 feet... flooding of low-lying undeveloped areas along the
creek begins.

* At 1:28 PM Sunday the stage was 17.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
rise to near 26.6 feet by Tuesday morning.
* At 18.0 feet... low-lying rural areas outside of levees begin to
flood.

* From this afternoon to Friday evening.
* At 2:30 PM Sunday the stage was 20.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 27.2 feet by
early Tuesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
Thursday before midnight.
* At 23.5 feet... rural areas along the river which are not protected
by levees flood.

the Grand River near Brunswick.
* From Monday morning until further notice.
* At 7:31 am Sunday the stage was 12.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Monday morning and continue to
rise to near 23.7 feet by Tuesday evening.
* At 22.0 feet... low-lying areas along the East Bank of the Grand
River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge begin to flood.
* At 19.0 feet... flooding of low-lying areas occurs along the West
Bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge about 1
mile west of Brunswick.

* From late tonight to late Friday night.
* At 2:45 PM Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Monday morning and
continue to rise to near 34.3 feet by early Tuesday afternoon. The
river will fall below flood stage by Friday morning.
* At 28.0 feet... rural roads are under water.
* At 26.0 feet... rural land adjacent to the river is flooded.
* At 23.0 feet... bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage begins to
flood.

* at 234 PM CDT... trained weather spotters reported minor flooding
beginning across the advisory area. Doppler radar estimated 1 to 2
inches of rainfall in most locations.

* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause minor flooding to
occur... especially along small streams and near low water
crossings. Some locations that will experience minor flooding
include... Carrollton... Clinton... Concordia... Higginsville... Knob
Noster... Marshall... Sedalia... Slater... Sweet Springs...

Excessive runoff from this storm will cause minor flooding of small
creeks and streams... country roads... as well as farmland along the
banks of creeks and streams.

avoid camping along streams or creeks during threatening rains.

* Through Monday morning

* moderate to locally heavy rains may lead to localized flooding
through Monday morning. Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches
will be possible tonight... before rain gradually comes to an end
early Monday morning.

* Many rivers and streams are running at elevated levels due to heavy
rains experienced during the past week and a half. Moderate to
heavy rains through Monday morning may lead to additional river
rises and possible flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
