The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Shreveport.
* Until Friday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:00 am Monday the stage was 30.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.0 feet by
tomorrow evening and hold, cresting near 31.0 feet.
The river will fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
* Impact... at 31 feet Russell Road will be overflowed and closed
between Blanchard Highway and Interstate 220 in North Shreveport.
Also expect backwater flooding up Cross Bayou, Twelve Mile bayou,
and lower mccain creek. High water will creep up to near southern
fant Parkway and near the Teague Parkway.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Coushatta.
* Until Saturday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:00 am Monday the stage was 31.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 32.0 feet by
Wednesday evening. The river will fall below flood stage Friday
evening.
* Impact... at 31 feet minor flooding occur... minor backwater flooding
occurs from the confluence of the Red River with Loggy Bayou as well
as up through the Lower Flat river and lower Red Chute bayou in
southern Bossier Parish. Livestock and equipment should be moved to
higher ground.

Statement as of 8:20 PM CDT on June 29, 2015


... Red River information...

On the Red River at Pecan Point north of DeKalb Texas... the 7 PM
Monday stage was 28.34 feet. Expect the river to recede to near 28
feet through Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 24 feet.

At the index bridge north of Texarkana... the 7 PM Monday stage was
24.15 feet. The river will recede to near 23 feet by late Tuesday
morning. Flood stage is 25 feet.

At Fulton Arkansas... the 7 PM Monday stage was 23.69 feet. The river
will recede to near 23.5 feet by Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 27
feet.

At the Springbank Ferry in southwest Arkansas at the confluence of
the red and Sulphur rivers... the 7 PM Monday stage was 37.82 feet.
Expect little change through Tuesday morning as the Red River crests
at Springbank near 37.85 feet. Flood stage is 37 feet.

At Shreveport Louisiana... the 7 PM Monday stage was 30.99 feet. The
river will crest near 31.2 feet during late Tuesday. This crest will
be some six feet lower than that of June 9 when the river crested at
37.1 feet. Flood stage is 30 feet.

At Coushatta Louisiana... the 7 PM Monday stage was 31.55 feet. The
river will crest near 32.0 feet during Wednesday. This crest will be
some seven feet lower than that of June 11 when the river crested at
38.8 feet. Flood stage is 31 feet.

At Grand Ecore Louisiana... the 7 PM Monday stage was 34.39 feet. The
river will rise and crest near 36.0 feet by Thursday. This crest
will be six feet lower than that of June 13 when the river crested
at 42 feet. Flood stage is 33 feet.
