the Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Fulton, Arkansas.
* From Friday evening until further notice... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 1100 am Tuesday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Friday evening and continue to
rise to near 32.0 feet by June 3.
* Expect considerable flooding between levees. All livestock
and equipment should be moved to higher ground.
* This flood compares to a crest of 34.3 feet set during may 12 of
1990.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at index, Arkansas north of Texarkana.
* From late Thursday night until further notice... or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 1100 am Tuesday the stage was 18.6 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Friday morning and
continue to rise to near 30.0 feet by Monday morning.
* Expect considerable flooding between levees. All livestock
and equipment should be moved to higher ground.
* This flood compares to a crest of 32.3 feet set during may 10 of
1990 at index, Arkansas.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Little River at Horatio, Arkansas.
* Until Sunday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 900 am Tuesday the stage was 29.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.4 feet by
Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday
early afternoon.
* Impact... at 30.0 feet... ranchers should evacuate cattle and farm
machinery to higher ground and have preparations complete for a
major flood. Expect considerable lowland flooding of several
hundred acres of grazing and farming land. Expect major backwater
flooding of small tributaries at their confluence with the Little
River such as the cossatot and the Rolling Fork river. Also rising
lake levels from Millwood Reservoir will close the boat ramp at
Wilton, Arkansas through much of June.

... The Flood Warning extended until Friday afternoon... the Flood
Warning continues for
the Little River near Idabel, Oklahoma.
* Until Friday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 830 am Tuesday the stage was 32.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 33.9 feet by
Wednesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday
evening.
* Impact... at 34.0 feet... farmers and ranchers should have
preparations completed for a major flood with all cattle and farm
machinery evacuated. Thousands of acres of lowland in the Little
River flood plain will be flooded and several secondary roads and
bridges will be cut off.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near DeKalb, Texas at Pecan Point.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 800 am Tuesday the stage was 32.4 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 34.1 feet by
Thursday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 34.5 feet... near record flooding of some tens of
thousands of acre will continue. Severe backwater flooding of Pecan
and Nolan creeks occurs. The U.S. Highway 259 bridge is closed, as
well as Texas Highway bridges 8 and 37.
* This crest compares to a crest of 34.42 feet set during may 6 of
1990.

.Overview... Isolated convection developed across northwest
Louisiana and southwest Arkansas during the evening hours on
Monday may 25... ahead of a squall line. Although there were
reports of large hail and strong winds with the isolated
convection ahead of the squall line... the squall line produced
the majority of the wind damage as it moved across the arklatex.

.Tornado #1 in Panola County in northeast Texas...
