Santa Rosa County in northwest Florida...
southern Covington County in south central Alabama...
southeastern Escambia County in south central Alabama...
southeastern Baldwin County in southwest Alabama...

* until 730 am CDT

* at 555 am CDT... a large area of moderate to heavy showers will
continue to move slowly over the advisory area through this
morning then taper off from west to east this afternoon. Some areas
have received up to an inch already this morning with an additional
1 to 2 inches possible through mid morning. This pattern will likely
result in minor flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas and

* Locations impacted include...
Pensacola international Airport... Whitfield...
midway... Ocean City... Fort Walton Beach...

Tiger Point...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive rainfall runoff will cause ponding of water in urban
areas... highways... streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage areas and low lying spots.

Excessive rainfall runoff will cause small creeks to rise. Ponding of
water at normal low water crossings in rural areas can be expected.

Never try to cross or play in an urban spillway or flowing creek...
even a small one.

call 911. To report flooding to the National Weather Service call
